Post-Cardiac Rehabilitation

As a Clinical Exercise Physiologist with 3 years of experience as a Cardiac Rehabilitation instructor, I help individuals who have completed NHS cardiac rehabilitation continue their recovery and improve their long-term heart health.

I specialise in creating personalised exercise programs tailored to each individual's unique needs, ensuring a safe and effective progression in their fitness journey. Having worked with a wide range of cardiac issues, including heart attacks, bypass surgery, angioplasty, and heart failure, I focus on enhancing cardiovascular fitness, strength, and overall well-being.

My goal is to help individuals regain confidence, reduce the risk of future cardiac events, and maintain a healthy, active lifestyle beyond their rehabilitation. This is a fresh start, and with the right approach, you can become fitter than you have in years.

Key things I help clients improve:

  • Cardiovascular fitness/endurance

  • Muscular strength and power

  • Confidence and energy

  • Post-surgery aches and pains

  • Mobility and flexibility

  • Balance and coordination

“After my heart operation Josh was pivotal in getting me back into exercise. Each session I felt I was exercising at the right level, whether I turned up feeling well or not so good. Every week I felt better and after just 4 months I am stronger and fitter than I have been for years.”
