Neurological Rehabilitation
As a Clinical Exercise Physiologist, Personal Trainer and Qualified Neurological Rehabilitation trainer, I specialise in helping individuals with a range of neurological conditions improve their strength, balance, mobility and quality of life through one-to-one exercise sessions.
After an initial assessment looking at a range of movements I will programme and coach exercise sessions which target your specific areas of weakness caused by your condition, combined with your goals. In my experience, whether the individual I am coaching has MS, Parkinsons, Traumatic Brian Injury or is recovering from a Stroke, the engagement in the sessions is far better when the exercises are linked to something meaningful the individual wants to be able to do (or possibly do more easily) in their daily life.
Since I helped my uncle recovery from his TBI in 2022, I have developed a real passion for helping individuals with neurological conditions and do my all to educate and inspire my clients to improve through neuroplasticity to their greatest potential. It is a myth that recovery for people with these conditions can only be found in the early months. Tailored strength, mobility and balance exercises can mean you see improvements years and years down the line. This really is my greatest passion so if you feel like you have reached a plateau, are frustrated or feel lost and need inspiring, please do get in touch.
Key things I help people with neurological conditions improve:
